On 3rd November, Bisley joined a number of architecture and design practices, in contributing and bidding at Humanscale’s 11th annual Faces in the Wild auction in aid of the WWF.

The event aimed at raising awareness and funds for wildlife protection and artists and designers to contribute a piece of work that depicts a non-domestic wild animal. Pieces of work were hugely varied from paintings, photographs, intricate necklaces and our very own ‘Wild Bisley Multi Drawer’.

Prestigious artists and designers—including Tom Dixon, Todd Bracher, Black & Blum, Sue Timney, Caroline Gibello and Marcel Wanders— created and generously donated wildlife-inspired artwork for this event. Humanscale matched all winning bids raising £26,230 for WWF.

Star lots of the night included Sue Timneys silk screen print of wild animals which eventually raised £1,100 after a fierce bidding war, photographer Caroline Gibellos print entitled Lionesses raising £800 and Marcel Wanders cow sculpture which reached £600.
