Bisley designer scoops prestigious Design Guild Mark
Bisley Design Manager, Chris Fowler has been awarded a prestigious Design Guild Mark by The Furniture Makers Company (also known as the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers).
An award scheme that encourages the design and manufacture of the very finest quality furniture, the Guild Marks are also intended as an ongoing record of the very best work of the British designers and makers.
Only 20 Design Guild Mark Awards have been made this year from an extensive list of applicants. The award to Chris was made in recognition of his design of the innovative Bite® mobile storage unit.
The Design Guild Mark, launched in 2007, specifically rewards excellence in the design of furniture in volume production. The award means that Bite® can now carry the accolade: “Awarded a Design Guild Mark by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers”.
As well as the Design Guild Mark, The Furniture Makers Company also makes Bespoke and Manufacturing awards.
