How can I get replacement keys for my Bisley product?

Bisley are unable to provide keys however you can purchase spares direct from our supplier Lowe & Fletcher, details are on our customer services page.

How do I remove a drawer from my Bisley unit?

Do you have a showroom where I can view your products?

Yes, the address is Northumberland House, 155-157 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 6QP. The showroom is open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5:30pm and Friday from 9am to 5pm.  We suggest that you make an appointment prior to arrival to ensure that your enquiry can be dealt with during your visit. Please contact the showroom on 020 7436 7111 for appointments.

Are your cabinets fire proof?

Our cabinets are not what is classed as fire-proofed - and we do not therefore claim that they give any form of fire-protection to the contents. Such products - double-skinned and filled with fire retardant material - are available from specialist manufacturers at a high price premium.   With a normal steel cabinet in a severe fire, although the unit itself will not catch alight, the content will simply "cook" (char).   We do have certification to BS 476: Part 7: ‘Surface spread of flame’ for our painted surfaces and for our plastic tambours.

What quality standards do Bisley products comply to?

Most of our products are tested to the following standards:

BS EN 14074:2004 - Office furniture.
Tables and desks and storage furniture. Test methods for the determination of strength and durability of moving parts.

BS EN 14073-2:2004 - Office furniture.
Storage furniture. Safety requirements.

BS EN 14073-3:2004 - Office furniture.
Storage furniture. Test methods for the determination of stability and strength of the structure.

There are exceptions – please see specific product pages for details. NB: product ‘type testing’ means that the example unit tested – usually the largest in the range – is deemed to be representative of the entire range.

Do you sell decorative tops?

Bisley do not supply decorative tops.  Please source these from your furniture dealer.

Can I buy direct from Bisley?

Bisley do not sell direct. However, we have a network of professional wholesalers and furniture dealers who are able to provide the customer with day to day service.  Please refer to the Where to Buy page on this website for details of your nearest dealer.
